3 days in nature

The plan for a group that wants to keep moving: one day of proper mountain, one day in the gorge and one on the water. The weather sets the order — save the mountain for the clearest day.

Day 1 — the mountain

The big day: take the Plaiul Ciungetului → Nemira Mare Peak trail or, for fit groups, the traverse from Slănic Moldova with the descent into Sălătruc (leave a car at each end). Start early, pack water and a rain layer. In the evening, the hot tub earns its reputation.

Day 2 — the gorge

• Morning — Nasolea Waterfall and the Uz gorge, with long photo stops.
• Afternoon — the yew forest or an ATV ride over the high meadows, for contrast.
• Evening — the cauldron over a low fire, and the story of the day.

Day 3 — the water

• Morning — SUP or kayak on the mirror-still lake; anglers have their own spot on the shore.
• Lunch — at the guesthouse, with the bags packed at leisure.
• On the way out — stops at the dam and, if there is time, in Dărmănești for the monuments.

The bad-weather alternative

Swap the mountain day for the Târgu Ocna Salt Mine + Slănic Moldova — and the evening stays the same: gazebo, hearth, cauldron.
