By car: DN12A to Dărmănești, then DJ123 up the Uz valley, past the dam, to the tail of the lake. You can drive right up to the gate; the last kilometre is a gravel road.
By train: Dărmănești station (Adjud–Comănești line), then taxi/transfer, ~25 min
